A new 'Quick Order Pad' has been added, for customers familiar with the industry standard office product SKU numbers. The customer simply types in the three letter manufacturer code, followed by the SKU number and quantity. Multiple items can be added in a matter of seconds; and then it is off to the checkout. This is a great feature for the purchasing agent.
Improved left hand navigation, at the category level, saves time searching for the right product. The user can now drill down to, for example, a ring binder based on color, capacity, brand name, pockets, ring shape, and/or many other attributes. The search has been drastically improved based on the addition of over a million attributes, with a product inventory of over 30,000 SKUs.
The new improved ink and toner finder allows browsing by manufacturer. Or select the right toner based on manufacturer and machine model number. Compatible generic ink and toner cartridges are shown along with OEM cartridges, when available.
Faster site speed was obtained by taking a serious look at the pages and reducing the fat, or kilobytes, on the page. This reduction allows a faster load time. This is where the site needed the biggest improvement, as stated by Robert Doyle, President of Great Office Buys.
